Not worth it if you're interested in custom roms or timely updates. The Verizon Xyboard has no confirmed ICS release schedule. The WiFi Xyboard is supposed to receive it in Q3. Development is a dead end, no one is buying these things so no one is developing for them. It's an alright tablet but I'd sooner buy an Asus Transformer or a Samsung Galaxy Tab (especially the 7.7)...

It's an alright tablet but I'd sooner buy an Asus Transformer or a Samsung Galaxy Tab (especially the 7.7)...

I owned Tab7.7 P6800, currently only 2 roms to play with(HC from steve and CM9 Alpha 1 from loccera) no custom/oc kernel atm. Maybe it still new, idk

Tablets vs Phones in the hacking world is :thumbdown: BAD!

WHY?

Because phones are way more developed! Like the HTC One X...there was already like five roms before they even released the phone

Tablets...no...because I'm sure nobody wants a Wifi Tablet for more than $300, when they can get a great phone. And tabs with data are even more expensive...and especially when they use a lot of data...nobody wants one

one important quastion for i is this : whats diffrent between xyboard and xoom 2 ? ?

XYBoard is in America with TI omap processors. The xoom 2 is in other countries and might have a different processor (not sure). Alot of country's don't have 4g so that is different as well. But when it comes down to specifications NOTHING.
