Digitizer

I have the XYBoard which souports an active digitizer I have never used anything but a capaciative stylus. Can I use a digitizer in all apps or just menu navigation and note taking apps?

Xyboard doesn't have a digitizer like the Note does, it's capacitive only.

The 10.1 versions do. The ME doesn't.

The 10.1 is capacitive. The stylus that comes with it has worked on every single smartphone screen and tablet screen I've tried it on.

I don't understand what you're getting at? Hell the stylus isn't even that precise.

A digitizer is something built into the screen meant to pick up special styluses... The Xyboard doesn't have one, it's just capacitive touch and that "precision" stylus just mimics capacitance of a finger.
