    I am waiting patiently as well. I have the DROID Xyboard 8.2 on Verizon. It sounds like VZW is rolling to the 10.1. I don't understand why they are for the 8.2. The 10.1 and 8.2 are identical hardware, with the exception of the screen size (even the resolution is the same).

    Motorola just published a new ICS update schedule. XYBoard MZ607 is not even listed..... Not good.

    False advertising, with ICS still shown on the product page without even a mention of HC.

    ICS... or RMA

    I am done being patient and being lied to by Motorola.

    They claim XYBoard 8.2 ICS has been released since August 13. Cannot even paste the d@mn link with android tablet.

    So give me ICS ... or give me an RMA for refund. On chat pushing for RMA.

    EVERYONE go on Moto chat and phone support. Demand ICS or refund. Let them know you have had it. Demand to speak to a manager.

    Patient time is over. Put up or shut Moto down.

    I had a long conversation with Motorola level 2 tech last night. The long and short of it is, they claim that the MZ607 is slated for the upgrade sometime in Q4 - even though it no longer appears on the road map.

    It seems likely that this is true, since many of the XOOM2 devices are slated for a Q4 update - but who knows. I kept a log of the phone call, and told the guy that, if I hadn't received the upgrade by Jan 1, I would ask for a refund...

    We'll see what happens. Either way, not particularly stellar customer service by Motorola.

    Spent 3 days trying to get satisfaction, spoke with 9 people. All the way to Motorola corporate "customer satisfaction" department. That was Wednesday. She promised call back within a day. Guess she got busy. I have her number so will call next week.

    One interesting thing. Instead of providing ICS version 4.0.4 to us as posted on the Motorola support page, they removed the references to that release. But did not update the schedule to include the XYBoard 8.2 ICS timeframe. So more uncertainty and waiting.

    Official 8.2 is released for the verizon droid xyboard 8.2 LTE!!!

    My question now is, I've sucessfully installed the ICS leak on to my 8.2 Droid xyboard. Does anyone have step by step instructions on how I can get back to stock HC to accept the official update??? Is this possible?

    ICS received and installed. So far it's a huge improvement over Honeycomb.

    Released for Verizon eh, but NOTHING for the Motorola XYBoard 8.2. Not even on the schedule.

    Been pursuing this for a couple of weeks now. So far no definitive info on a release, and I was told I cannot return the tablet because it is beyond the 30 days since purchase. I counter that they are engaged in false advertising because they say the device uses ICS (its the first tile on the product feature page!), and have for months said that ICS was released for this device, but it is not being made available, and they continue to change stories. Verizon can seem to get a release with their version, where is Moto?????

    Their corporate "customer advocate" representative so far is no help except for pulling the release notes (I made a copy of the webpage beforehand). She promised to get back with me in a day after again explaining the situation and lack of Motorola response. Nothing back until a week later, and she left a message while I was driving. I have called her office again several times but no response.

    If she does not respond this week, I will...ok, maybe not post her contact info. Hope she calls.

    Are her name and number publicly available online? If not, I highly​suggest not posting it. You don't want to get done for harassment, especially if it's something that she personally has no control over.
