Noobie with file recovery/reload problem
Hi there,
Just picked up my Xoom today and was really excited to have it.
I started playing around with it and saw it had already 'loaded' in an entire photo album from Picasa. I wanted to remove it so connected to pc & deleted the files but the folder was still showing up on my Xoom. So, stupidly, I went and deleted the overall folder it was in. Now when I try & go to gallery it says external storage not available & I can't see any photos. I think the file was something like com.google.android.3 something. It was in the android folder in another folder (possible a cache folder). I wanted to know if I could recover or re-make that folder again to solve the problem.
But since then I started trying to follow the reset instructions in the booklet and now my screen has frozen at the 'starting fastboot protocol support' stage and I can't turn the Xoom off or do anything with it... Help!!
What an idiot - not even had it for a day.

Press and hold the power button and the volume up button together for several seconds until your Xoom reboots. Plug it in to the charger to make sure it has almost a full charge first.

Well, I had gone to bed leaving it on & this morning it had switched off as out of charge. Plugged it in & turned it on and all seems to be fine including being able to view my photo galleries.
Thanks for the info on how to reboot though. May need that in the future!
