Hmm I would do a factory reset just to be safe. I know its a pain to set everything up again, but if there are continued issues it would be best to find out sooner than later. Any pics, movies, music, etc can be dragged and dropped to your PC prior to a reset.

    That's just my opinion.

Doing right now. It only seems to do this with market or browser. After three attempts at downloading, I tried Dolphin, same result. However any other use, messin around in menus or checkin out the standard apps it seems completely fine. I tried to do the soft reboot but couldn't get it to work, it would just boot up normal (+v and power). If it continues I guess its back to the store tomorrow although I will probably phone them first to save a wasted trip. Wondering if I might have to get some xma procedure from M even though it's less than 24 hours out of the store.

I doubt I will be shedding any new light here it'll either work doubtfully or do the same thing again so I wanna say ultimate thanks for your help. I do like how it runs and after browsing see some happy people and impressing reviews so I will try to stick with the Xoom for now. I will be ICSing oen if I can get past this so I dare say I will be back to run through the guide you guys have here. I expect I will have a few qs before I proceed with that though as regards warranty and the procedure looks a tiny little bit daunting.

    Again, much thanks

Done it, first thing I tried was to check my apps and update them and it cut off. Gonna try the first update and then skip the second... might aswell try it now and then post this reply.. wow. it cut off during the screen unlock. Hmm, checked the system update it says uptodate and the version is still showing as 3.2. I guess this is end of the road for this one.
