    new to this and it's my second try! Having trouble with my Xoom buffering. Is this normal to the Xoom and can it be fixed
    or am I stuck with it until Xmas.. Please say it can be fixed the wife wanted to buy me a iPad.l

    As highlighted on my thread, I'm new to this whole thing. Been off work for six years now, various illnessies most of them terminal.Used to work in the ,North Sea, you just don't know what you've got till it's gone. Walking and swallowing are my main problems at the moment. Now that crap is out of the way, my problem with my Xoom is it keeps buffering. In general it's when I'm playing a programme from catch up or on demand. I've changed my server and my laptop works fine now. I only got the Xoom two weeks ago.
    My wife wanted to get me an iPad but I don't need anything that fancy...I only want it for playing movies, emails and surfing the web
    Please tell me there a fix out there for this, I'll take some stick if there isn't.

    Which Xoom do you have and which firmware are you on?

    I am on the original Xoom and on Ice Cream Sandwich 4.x Ever since I upgraded to the latest firmware, I have had major problems with wifi connectivity. The browser constantly freezes and videos often constantly buffer. You may also be having the same issue.

    Do you have stock ICS or one of the custom ROMs.
    I ask because I reading that the Acer Iconia tablets are having WiFi connectivity issues with the ICS release (in Australia at least).
