    New to the site (Introduction)

Kedu, Hola, Hi. A new member from Maryland, USA. A Nigerian American or American Nigerian...w/e its order...After 'patiently' awaiting its arrival, my Xoom has finally been delivered. At the moment, I'm just playing around with it and downloading apps in addition to attempting to the read the guide. I've been wondering, since I've powered it on for the first time after I perform a factory reset I've been asked to update the tablet twice. Both updates did not involve an update to Ice Cream. Do I have to do anything 'special' to get the update? And yes, I have tried manually checking for the update through settings

Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us. As long as it's a US Xoom, just keep the wifi on and it'll come soon.

Yeah it is and I just found out the problem. It's not out yet for Verizon's. And as it appears..it looks like I'll get it around Q4ish.

Okay, you have the 3G/4G version. The only official update has been to the US wifi Xoom.
