Push music app to system
Hey guys,
This is my first post here and just want to thank this forum so much. I brought my xoom back to normal after having semi-bricked
. Awesome rescue squad are awesome. Hope to learn more from here. Now I have Eos nightlies up and running smoothly.
Just one question. I liked the stock music player in honeycomb. Eos nightly 58 seems to be the most stable but has a stock gingerbread music app. So I side installed he honeycomb music app( thanks to google) but when I push it to system it stops. Am I doing anything wrong? Permissions may be?

is it the UI or is there a difference in audio quality?
i've noticed a lot of roms i flashed on other devices include the gingerbread music player whats makes it so much better then play music? i've always wondered since play music allows you to stream from cloud and sign in on just about any device with a browser.

Welcome to the forum.
Glad you decided to join us. I don't believe you'll be able to get this working unless you can find someone that's hacked it since the framework on HC and ICS are very different.

Well I'm not a audiophile so wouldn't know the differences in sound. Thanks to ics I could disable/freeze the app and sideload the honeycomb app as a user app.
