Importing pictures

Is there an easy way to get pictures directly into the xoom from an HD card? I know ipad has an actual adapter that you put your card into and connect right into the ipad. Is there any such thing for the xoom?

I'm not sure what an HD card is. But if it is an SD card. You can use a card reader with camera kit cable.

You can also do it with one of the many file transfer programs that works over wifi. That way if your computer has a full sized SD slot you can import them there and then wirelessly batch upload them to Xoom.

Depending on what format you are shooting in you may have to convert them first. I'm not sure if any of the android gallery apps uses the. raw format for example.

Another thing you can do is send them straight from your SD card to a cloud somehwere, a lot of photogs use Adobe Photoshop. Import them or upload them to a cloud (adobe, dropbox, etc) and then download just the ones you want on your tablet!
