Currently I have the following problem, I want to update to Android 4.1 but since the setting -> system updates
will not let me, how I can update my xoom to android 4.1 or android 4.0?

Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us. Where are you located, the US wifi xoom is the only one to be updated to 4.1?

Afaik..no official update from Motorola for your MZ601 to 4.x.x at the moment.

If want to go to 4.1.1 with awesome features from our great developers.

Just got the latest update (I am in Australia) this morning. I have a Xoom (M601 - not rooted-stock standard) - update now on 4.0.4 (ICS). Took a while but all good now (about 10 minutes, all up).

I don't know what to tell you. I waited for the Version to come thru as OTA (Over the Air) - Checked almost every day and eventually it came as an advise. Took the plunge an updated. I believe you have to wait for the advise to come - unless of course you are rooted.

I hope this is he reply you wanted. I have no idea when you updates will come for your part of he world - eventually I suppose, you just have to keep checking.

Glad you got update cos I haven't here in Melbourne on 604. when I went check up dates yesterday I firstly got a date for 1970 - a little before xoom's time and then told I was up to date. Just shows you can't believe everything you read on your tablet.
