About LinkBackswhat is needed to download word, excel, publisher documents to xoom? can they be manipulated on platform or just stored and viewed? is there any way to drag and drop pics or files from pc? My teenage daughter started some sort of music app on my xoom. any time it is accidentally bumped or touched it starts playing and is difficult to stop. is there an intro to xoom app or something. i know verizon has xoom class but i cant attend until next sunday. sorry to be such a drag, but i have to start somewhere. Rooting sounds like a good way to get myself in trouble atm. I'm hoping to learn as much as possible and be able to take advantage of advanced procedures, but that's a ways off.

There are several decent office suite apps. I use Thinkfree HD. Don't know what could be up with your music issue.

Welcome to the forum.
When you connect you Xoom to your computer you will see a dialogue box open on your desktop, open device to view files. Click on that and this is how you drag and drop files to your Xoom from your PC.
