i need help. My wifi xoom is nice to look at but doesn't work

i can't get my email to work. i can look at webpages sometimes but without function. even typing this is really hard. xoom says no
Do i have a lemon or what. I have a motorola defy and its heaps more useful than this thing. I have done the debug thing and that helped alittle until i turned it off then did it again with some success.... my kids have ipads and they just seem to work.

Xoom says no? What does this mean? You may have a bug in your software. Sometimes a factory restore makes a huge difference.

hi I'm getting gmail fine and the calendar links in nicely with my phone. for other email it says connection error. When I say it says no i mean it just freezes - no nice blue line as it connects just an obstinate little red one

A few questions come to mind to get the ball rolling:

What kind of email are you trying to gain access to?
Which app are you using?
How are you configuring the app?
