getting the most out of my xoom

hi all - i am a newbie owner of a uk wifi only xoom and i love it but i have seen some performance issues - video is a big one, but i am currently testing with different codecs and such so i wont bring that problem here.

Youtube app is another weird one - if i go to the website through the browser then all is good, if i use the app then it buffers for an age and doesn't load the video sometimes, even after buffering for up to 4 mins it only loads a small portion of the video, everything else network related seems fine so i presume i have to wait for an update to the youtube app itself - has anyone else seen this problem on their xoom.

I am also interested in rooting and overclocking my xoom - i rooted my galaxy s2 and found using one of the modified roms (litening) i got better performance out of it so i was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a tutorial for the uk wifi model for rooting as well as overclocking

other than that i am very happy with my new toy but its good to know there is a place i can go to find some answers

    ps
my xoom is running honeycomb 3.1 at the moment - cheers all and i look forward to your replies

    Cheers,

    Fred
rooting isn't that bad you just have to download everything and place them in the correct folders. Then you can add new rom's and kernels
