I believe you use Universal Xoom root to root.

Easy ADB will do it...Uninstall your current ADB and use Easy ADB.

Set Up Easy ADB: Need for the rooting process

    1. Download the EasyADB(SDK_Tools.zip): here
    2. Extract the SDK_Tools.zip files
    3. Copy SDK_Tools folder
    4. Navigate to C: drive
    5. Paste SDK Tools folder on root of C: drive

Its much better if you could follow up back to your thread: here

Lets put it to the test.

Ensure you have Moto USB driver install.

    Enable your Xoom USB debugging.
    Setting> Applucation> Developement> Tick USB debugging.

Ensure your EasyADB/SDk_tools folder located at your c drive

Now plug in your Xoom to PC

Open command prompt in Windows Start icon (in search textfield type in cmd and press enter)
    Once command prompt pop up,type:

    cd C:\SDK_tools

    Then

    adb reboot

Let see your Xoom can reboot?

haha..i like you..your fun to work with

OK..do you have MicroSD card ready?

Using Universal Xoom Root: You need to have MicroSD card/External SD Card
Download this Root File and place it on your MicroSD card/External SD Card: here
*Note: Do Not Extract This .zip file.

    Then

Download this recovery image(recovery-Tiamat-R4c-100611-1150-cwm.img and rename it to recovery.img) and place it in the "SDK_Tools folder" at your PC C:drive: here

Is it all the file ready?

No sorry..No problem..just relax and enjoy this rooting process.

Pulg in your Xoom to PC

Open command prompt in Windows Start icon (in search textfield type in cmd and press enter)
    Once command prompt pop up,type:

    cd C:\SDK_tools
    adb reboot bootloader

    fastboot oem unlock
    fastboot reboot

(each at one time: do nothing to the xoom just watch the Xoom reboot..etc,just concentrate on the command)

it is showing me a legal notice and it says that the warrenty will be void if i do it, and if i relock it, the warrenty will still be void. if i relock it can i still keep the warrenty? what i am really asking is that if i wanted to send it in under warrenty could i just relock it and the warrenty will be valid again, or will the warrenty be broken forever?
