That was quick -_-"
It failed instantly for some reason.

EDIT: I've noticed a small difference in the file name of the link I got from XDA and the one you supplied.
I'll again try downloading that one and see what happens.

Just when I finally downloaded the right file and started the operation, it got stuck on some driver install issue.
Always returns with "MTP USB Device....FAILED".
OK.
I have no slightest idea how this could have happened but after trying to restore my tab from being stuck at the boot animation, it came back with baseband right there and 3G is working as magnificently as I recall from 7 months ago.
My problem now is, how can I update to the Euro umts nightly while keeping IMEI and baseband?

AFAIK, rom will not change your IMEI.
Baseband...Im not so sure
What I would like to do:
- Install CWM Recovery and root it with Universal Xoom Root.
- Monitor and see how the 3G works after rooted? If all good.
- Do Nandroid Back up.
- If it fail, flash back to stock.
Then;
- Flash Team EOS EU nightly and try the 3G.
- If 3G works, that will be the deal.
- If it fail, I will restore the Nandroid that I made earlier.
Hope it help and let us know your progress![]()
I don't know what to say but gazillion thanks for ending my almost 7 months of searching for a solution to this problem.
I'm currently running latest umts nightly with baseband available and all working correctly.
Only thing left for me is restoring my data with Titanium Backup and am working on that right now.
I wish I can further express how grateful I am to you and the other guy from XDA for getting me to this point.
I'm off to buy a new SIM card!
