You can add 4G to a Canadian WiFi Only Xoom?
So I was told?
and I was also told it is only a matter of plugging in a radio module?
Sound too good to be true.

That would be interesting and a lot of pissed off people who brought the 3g for the upgrade
As far as I know the answer is no, your Xoom doesn't have the required radio to upgrade. If you decided to hack a radio in you would have to figure out where to get the radio, who would install it and it would probably cost you more than buying a 4G Xoom in the first place.
SGS-IV-Stock_Rooted
Nexus 4 - CyanMod 10.1
SGS-II - Rooted - Jedi Mind Trick VX3
Samsung Note II - Jedi Master 13
Motorola Xoom - WiFi - Rooted - EOS 4.2.1 Nightlies
I was told you can buy the radio, open the Xoom and plug it into the board.
You know the product cost for a 4G Radio must be about $20.00, buy the radio for $100 and plug it in.
I do not think this is true anyway, do not know where the guy heard the rumor but I did a internet search found nothing.
Just as well I always have my phone, so I always have a quick WiFi access point for the Xoom. For the sake of a bit of convenience do I want to pay for another data plan.
