Very weird, I am UK, unrooted and using the market app to go into the market, I have downloaded iplayer and it works perfectly, are you rooted?

Nope not rooted, it's just the app that won't work, if I go through a browser direct it's ok

Bbc i-player or itv player doesn't work for me either....when installing says "not available in your country" I am in the Uk! Using a XOOM mz601

Yes says not compatible with your device. Can still use i-player from browser though, just not the app.
