You could always flash back to stock and re-lock the bootloader, should you need to send it back to moto.
Go for it!![]()

I must say that I've been very tempted, especially with the potential update to JB round the corner (will we EVER get that OTA?). How would I flash back if the thing was broken though?
There's no doubt that once my warranty is up I will be 'flashing' ! Don't you think it's bad though that you have to resort to potentially invalidating your warranty just to get what our US cousins have had for months?
'Gedified' my xoom last night, I am now flying along on 4.04 and eagerly awaiting my update to JB. Thanks once again to Simon, his AIO pack and instructions were invaluable.![]()

Still going good, all is well after gedifing about 3 weeks now just waiting for the JB update
Hey Mate. Got my Jelly Bean update on Saturday. If possible, don't upgrade. The performance is not as great as the ICS. Furthermore, since the upgrade, my SD Card has stopped working. I don't know whether this is a coincidence to something else that may be wrong with my Xoom or have Google shut that feature "off". Don't know why they would but it definitely is not working after the update.
All apps work without any problems. The transition from one screen to another (which seems to be people's idea of performance) is quite smooth. But when you load some Apps, the start is not as snappy as it was under ICS.
Just my two cents worth. Hope it helps.

I have Jellybean too and have noticed an issue with the notifications at the bottom. You can't remove them without actually going through them individually. Also my Skype app doesn't work at all well anymore. Lack of video, or sound, or mic - although this could be a skype issue.
Is there a way to go back to ICS
Xoom Wifi on Android 4.1 GED (UK)
Yes you can. When you press the notifications, at the top right of the popup window there is an icon like a little stack of tiles. Press it.
Asfor going back, well if you are serious and you think you have tried everything else you can to increase the performance of skype, like a soft reset, clearing app data, uninstalling it and reinstalling it, and ultimately a factory data reset, then since you are posting in the UK section, you can go back by following the exact same process you used to convert your Xoom to a US one and then not accepting the final update, but that seems a bit drastic to me!
You could also convert it back to a UK Xoom of course, and by the time you get Jelly Bean in 2020, Skype will probably have updated their app for it.

Hey Mate
I am in Australia. I use the SD Card facility of my MZ604 quite extensively. Is there anyway I can "re-activate" the SD Card reader of the MZ604 ? The JB Upgrade has knocked it out and I want it back. I am thinking of performing the "drastic" action of reverting back to ICS just for the SD Card. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers
SD card has moved to storage/sdcard1 ... did you look for it there?
Edit: just reverted to stock JB to try this for you. If you download File Manager HD and click Storage at the top left, you should be able to see your SE card. Does that work?
I don't think you can write to it without rooting or hooking it up to your PC but you should be able to read it.
