Thank you Astrix! Your help was awesome.

It seems to work fine. So far my only complaint is that the Google Play downloads are very slow. It must be the store itself, websites are loading lightning fast, even from overseas (it is given that right now it is 3:45AM in Europe, not many people using bandwidth over there right now). Kobo reader 7.65 Mb is downloading now for almost 5 minutes. :-(

I even found the overclocking option, and set it to 1504. There is a huge difference in speed between the stock 3.2 and the EOS 4.0.4!

    Great so far!

Again, thank you for your help! Much appreciated!

    A.K.

I do! It is amazing! I already started to play with the idea to check out the Team EOS nightlies. I need to figure out how not to reinstall my apps I put on...

EOS works just fine most of the time, I'm happy I did the rooting and flashing ICS on my Xoom.

My biggest complain is that video streaming doesn't seem to work correctly. I'm sitting at my laptop, right beside is my Xoom. The TED Talks website works flawlessly on the laptop, it is very choppy on the Xoom, it stalls for minutes, and plays for 10 seconds then it stalls again for minutes. Same with Youtube. Streams fine on the laptop, not enjoyable at all on the Xoom.

And the Google Play downloads are slow too. Otherwise when it is not streaming (eg. browsing a website) it loads fast. What do I have to tweak to get enjoyable streaming?

It is the stock stable EOS image, not the nightly. I did overclock it to 1.5x

All your inputs would be much appreciated!

    Thank you in advance!

    A.K.

Edit: run speedtest.net on both the laptop and the Xoom. On the laptop it runs fine. On the Xoom it craps out with the following message: Network communication issues - Try Again. I did try again and I did restart the Xoom. Didn't help.
Cut overclock back to 1.2x. Didn't help.
Cut overclock back to 1x. Didn't help.
Couldn't find any settings where I could have tweaked wifi.

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread.

    Edit 2:
Changed from dynamic to static IP address. Same thing. Speedtest runs for a few seconds and then it says network communication issues.

Thanks! How do I go about it? Do I need to reinstall all my apps and docs, or it replaces the op system only?

Remember, you don't need to wipe your data to flash a rom from the same series.
