This is a discussion on Browsers and Flash within the Non U.S. Xoom General Discussion forums, part of the International Motorola Xoom Forum category; Originally Posted by zigackly I think it's more likely that websites will want to be compatible with more traffic actually, and flash support for desktops ...
In fact, I'm finding ICS Browser+ to be quite good and very easy to use. I'm not even sure I actually need to continue my support of Mozilla and Google cross platform to my Xoom. ICS+ seems to do it all quite painlessly.
The only other question is this. Will Jelly Bean actually render Flash incompatible or will ICS+ still function normally if Flash is already installed? I'm not clear on this.
Latest Dolphin update cripples Flash for Jelly Bean. Recommend detaching it from the market using Titanium Backup if you have not updated today, otherwise revert back one version.
Firefox Beta is now available for tabs. Youtube is playing as HTML5 by the looks. Using the flash test page at Adobe says I need the flash plug-in (Using HC here)

Annoying signature, but not as annoying as yours
Exactly. As I said, I don't really want to keep swapping browsers when looking at a flash site or trying to play a video on the BBC News website etc. As others have said, the ICS+ browser is more than adequate and I think Firefox and perhaps even Chrome are being left behind in the tablet area. Despite claims to the contrary, I can't see flash going away any time soon.
ICS+ Browser is not compatible with Jelly Bean.
The problem with ICS+ browser at the moment is, however, that it incompatible with Jelly Bean.
I note that the last update was in May so perhaps it may be due an update.
Can't imagine that ICS+ wont be updated for JB very soon.
An update. Seems Firefox Beta has been updated. Have been trying it again this evening and it does seem a lot faster and supports flash.
