UK xoom 3.1 update - today

Hooragh, woke up this morning to find a message on my xoom saying system update available 3.1, do I wish to update.
only downside is I didn't have time to update before I left for work.

UK update for 3g installing as I type this.....

First patch was small, rebooted and then downloaded much bigger patch (which is still installing)

It's now available for pull from system updates tbh, not sure what fuss is about!

I tried to pull it over the system tab.

My Software is up to date...

I got pushed the 6.1.40 update for my 3g at 8am this morning and have just pulled the 3.1 update. Already I think transitioning between the different home screens and browser tabs is quicker, although the annoying typing sound will have to go:-)

I got the two updates this morning for my 3G and they installed without problems. Pleased to see that they didn't force me to connect to power - I don't travel with a charger... Early days yet but the display text seems sharper and my most annoying glitch (a continual and incorrect 'connection error' message when using the built in email client to an EAS service) seems to have gone. In fact, the built in email app seems to have had a lot of work - just noticed it now has a multi account view...
