Wanting to sell my 4g Xoom but have a question

Well, one bonehead decision I made was getting this with a contract. I think its up on about 7 months. I wouldn't mind still paying the monthly charge even though I wouldn't have the device anymore.

So, if I sell it to someone, should I just take the sim card out? Is Verizon gonna care if it gets the 4g activated on a different account? Thanks for any advice.

i would defo take my sim card if its still gonna be active.i have no idea if verizon will reactivate it or not.

Was kind of hoping for a better answer? LOL Not that I don't appreciate yours Pharoah, but I just want to be sure about things before I do it. Pulling the SIM I would assume would revert the Xom back to 3 only? Would it then be just a matter of factory resetting the device?

I would contact Verizon. There's a way to transfer the account to another person I believe.

Hmm, in that case that would break my contract I would imagine...

No you cab get an assumption of liability for the contract from the new owner. They could always go into a VZW store and get a replacement sim card and have access to the account. Otherwise they could never access 4g
