    Ubuntu help please?

I'm using Ubuntu as my OS and can't figure out how to get my web cam to work. I know Linux systems don't use drivers in the natural scene, more of a patch I guess. Thus far I have been unable to find what I need. I did get a Verison Xoom last night so it's not such a big deal, but it just doesn't feel right having a $75 web cam and not be able to use it.....

For what its worth the cam is a Logitec pro 9000 (75% sure)....

Any help or advice would be much appreciated!
