I have a devious 1yr old Bernese Mt. Dog .. he ate mine this morning.

Steve looks like he had been wearing those clothes for a week. lol
Doug found a local source to remelonite, which I had done to mine.

Watch the next vid after the OP. It is about Steve's Training Business. I have taken a class with them and learned MUCH. Prior to that class I had met with Steve at his range three times. When the weather breaks, we will be doing some carbine fun

Israeli arms Desert Eagle .357. Beast of a gun. Beretta M9. Old M1911 semi. My original sidearm in the Marines. When we replaced them back in the 80's they auctioned off our old 45's and I was able to get mine. Thing is loose as a goose but has sentimental value.

That is sweet! My first AR was the same as my A2, or as close to it as possible. I'd like to get a 92FS too some day. It's just a thing about your service tools I guess. The range was the best part of the service IMHO! Expert every time but Boot Camp.

This one of the first times I have read this on most gun forums people hate the 92FS. Not for any good reason just because the one they were issued was so beat up it didn't workmright or that's what there friend said. No real working knowladge of the tool.

The 92FS is a accurate reliable pistol that is double and single action w/ a de-cocker, but it is a large heavy pistol.

It is not what I would use for personal defense or as a secondary for combat but it would work reliably. And in the end reliability and accuracy are what matter most

IMHO best personal defense pistols, calibre is secondary

    Smith&Wesson M&P

I think it has more to do with having the weapon that they carried while serving, and having to return it when their duty is over .. sentimental value. For SD, a heavy, low round gun is not ideal IMO. SO many better choices now days. Magpul's choice for handgun is the M&P, formerly with the S&W Pro series seers .. that is until Steve Fisher turned them on to Doug Holloway's seers when Magpul taught a class a year ago here in Howell, Michigan. They now use Doug's seers. Their choice of home defense shot gun is the Remington 870 20 gauge, not the 12 gauge.

Man you are going to need to be a tad more specific, in what you want? And what you want to do with it?

1911's are like Android phones, all pretty have the same operating system, but there sure are is a ton of hardware, and different ones are better at different things.

    Just plinking
    Target comp
    Speed comp
    Idpa
    Ipsc
    Personal Defense

Highend, real high end, low end you can get G1 running on T-Mobile, or a rooted incredible running on verizon 4g

Hows that for an analogy ...........

My first (personal) hand gun was the Ruger p89. Loved that gun... don't know why I sold it. Come to find out later in life that gun was developed for a GVT contract to replace the 1911. Ruger had the contract up till the last moment when some General changed his mind and went with the Beretta. I'll have to see if I can Find where I read that...

Currently using M1 carbine loaded with 110gr HSP rounds for HD. Bought it in 1963 through the NRA from an Army arsenal. Have an XD .45, Glock 17 and Kel tec PMR30. Thinking about
a Hi Point .45ACP carbine. Favorite rifle is Winchester model 70 Featherweight in .243 Win. Shotguns Remington 870 12ga and Browning Gold Hunter 12ga.
