Springfield Armory 1911 TRP (my favorite)
Bushmaster AR15 flat top with Aimpoint and Surefire
    Glock 27
    Glock 30
KelTec P3AT (always in a pocket)
    And a few more.

*Update* Kahr P9 (always in the waistband)

The 92FS is a accurate reliable pistol that is double and single action w/ a de-cocker, but it is a large heavy pistol.

It is not what I would use for personal defense or as a secondary for combat but it would work reliably. And in the end reliability and accuracy are what matter most

IMHO best personal defense pistols, calibre is secondary
    Glock
    Smith&Wesson M&P
    Springfield XD

I think the 92FS is quite accurate. With my minimal experience with the weapon, I had 0 issues. But it was owned by a person with OCD about their weapons. Which I can't say anything about people being OCD because I am. lol.

Good Analogy: This is my personal favorite 1911 that I have ever shot. I want it bad, just can't bring myself to drop the $1100 bucks on it.

On a related note, has anyone seen the Sons of Guns on Discovery Channel. Pretty cool show, check it out if you have time.

Not a good mix, nor one that I approve of at all!

I watch it... but other than the first episode I generally roll my eyes and groan. Can they come up with something that either hasn't already been done or fixed?

    But I still watch.
