I can't believe I waited so long to get into 3D gaming. I've been wanting a new monitor to replace my 20" widescreen for a while, so I bought a 27" and it just happened to be Nvidia "3D Vision" ready. So I went ahead and bought the required active shutter glasses kit and set it all up last night.

It breathes new life into games I stopped playing a long time ago, and it works with most popular games (some better than others). I'm lucky in the sense that I am able to perceive 3D images quite well without getting headaches, even after long periods, so this is perfect for me. It doesn't have that "pop-out" effect as much as it makes it look like you are looking "into" the screen. Very cool!
I don't know if it would be worth the investment if you already have a nice monitor, but if you are shopping for a new monitor anyways, consider checking the Nvidia site and see if you like any of the compatible models.
Games you stopped playing long time ago? Do older games support 3d ? And god help us if WoW ever goes 3d . It will be more realistic than real lifeQuote:
