Ya probably more of an headache to try and fix it.
Still use mine daily! Running 4.4.2 KitKat now and no problems!
You can try going to settings/apps/all/browser and delete data. It will delete any bookmarks and saved data though.
You have to flash gapps every time you flash the ROM.
I believe you need to use Dolphin Browser or Firefox to get flash to work.
You need to install gapps for 4.2.2 after flashing the ROM....
What firmware are they running? Go to settings/about tablet

Well there's the notification light that blinks in the upper right I believe. The battery charging light is right in the middle of the lower part of the device right above the USB/minihdmi/charging...
Yep if you're on 4.0.4 ICS then start with the root method there.

Yep only difference is that the vzw xooms have the Verizon logo on the screen. The specs and dimensions are the same.
The charging light is blinking? That's not normal, as the light stays on while charging. Maybe there was a problem with the battery install?

If you're a handy person, you can take the back off and check the battery connections. Maybe need to solder them.
Hmm that's weird. I've never even seen bp mode. Maybe it is like safe mode for windows?
Was adb enabled in developer settings?
Why don't you install them from the Play Store?
