First I would like to thank everyone who has dedicated their time and effort to bring this project to levels that so far exceed my wildest visions... This team ROCKS!

Second, and only cause I tried and failed.. I would like to change the location of the usb mount, editing the /etc/vold.fstab caused the usb mount as well as the Storage app to fail.

    Currently running Team EOS v.102.

Again, thank you for all your efforts.

    Best, Eddie

After hours of continual searching, trying to find the exact right keywords in the right combination... success. I found what I needed help with over at XDA Developers.

Score one for the old "Did you even try searching existing posts??"

    LOL.

    Thanks though!

FTR, I also flashed them, but not without issue.

Over at XDA, on their TeamEOS Wingray Nightlies thread, I found several other blokes who had a bit of issue with the two most recent GApps breaking Silly Faces on the Camcorder app and Video Chats on the Talk app. (In both, it's available under the little effects symbol menu option)

The most recent one to let them work is the old 20120317. The 20120422 and 20120429 both 'break' it. (Well for me and a few others at least. Not sure if this is Universal or not)

Seems the issue is in both apps, and presents as follows: when you try to initiate them, the app force closes. Doesn't freeze, its not like you get an option of waiting or force closing, just bangers, your back at the home screen.

Once again, EOS isn't at fault. When will I learn to stop doubting?

    Side question,
Has anyone fiddled with the Performance settings that are baked in? Any genuine changes in battery life or responsiveness? Is it worth using this? Or is there an app thats more recomended by the community?

Eeek... also, anyone remember what the default is?

No, I don't use the bult in performance settings. Have been using SetCPC for that since early 2009 and I guess I'm just a creature of habit.

started using voltage control, since it enables you to change the I/O scheduler as well as the governor.

Same here... the camera works fine in silly faces mode until a face is in the image, then it closes.
