Just root if you haven't already using the universal root, sorry I'm at the airport in a hurry and can't link it. Once you're rooted, just follow the instructions on the OP and you'll be fine. Very easy and you'll love it!

May I ask if this works on an m601 3g unit with no 4g upgrade? Kinda iffy about jumping in and testing cuz I need my tablet for work.

Sad panda. I guess I'll have to wait or find a moto center here in the Philippines that upgrades to 4g.

The rom is flawless minus the spell checker and a bunch of games being incompatible but its worth the trade off for now. It feels like a whole new tablet again. I hope they patch these issues but other than that I am proud to be rocking ICS thanks to Team EOS. Great job on the rom and thank you for supporting 4g for everyone on contract.

I've been humming along with build 10 for a week. I've tried to flash Build 15 and later Build 19, each with the latest GApps. Each time I end up in a state where everything is fine except Email, Browser, and Camera apps, which say they are not installed. Anybody with similar experience?

I tried all combinations of wiping, including full factory reset.

I had a similar problem when I did an update to the new version of Gapps on the WiFi version. I ended up removing the links/icons from the home screen and replacing them with the ones in the Apps drawer.
To check before deleting the links, see if you can open the camera, email and browser from the icons in the Apps drawer first.

    Good luck,

    Eric

If you are rooted just make a backup and wipe/flash the ROM. If it works great! If not restore the backup.

Reflash the Gapps. How are you flashing? ROM first then gapps and reboot? And like the above poster said some icon loose their link. Check the app drawer for the app and replace the ones on your screens.
