The camera seems to work a little differently in ics. To focus you hold the button down for a second or two. I don't seem to be able to get focus to work on the video cam though. It is ok on normal zoom but if you zoom the vid cam in too much it seems out of focus to me also. Haven't played with it much yet so it may just be learning how it works. Make sure the lens is clean though. I thought i had a problem once but it was just finger prints on the lens.

Hey guys . Big thanks to TeamEos for this. I took the plunge yesterday and finally rooted my Xoom as with my UK Xoom here in south Africa I was tired of never getting updates. My 3g zoo. Is now on pics and running great so big thanks you.Few small questions for am first time rooter :-). 1 - since the new from my browser does not support flash as it used to in 3.2 how do I resolve this ?2 - will future updates be available over the air making my Xoom a true GED device now ?3 - what or how do I install these nightlies and should I ?4 - how do I ensure all apps and data are backed up when installing new nightlies etc so. I don't have to reconfigure everything every time. Thanks so much and I look forward to your response.

Is your Xoom stock or rooted. If rooted you can't accept the OTA. You can flash the nightlies of your rom as they are updated to 4.0.4.

Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us. Make sure you have the USB drivers downloaded and installed, the only ones I know of are for windows.

Welcome to the evolution of Tiamat XOOM.

With the AOSP release of Android 4.0 begins the next dawn of the Android operating system. And with this release comes Team EOS, the natural evolution of the TiamatXOOM development team.

It is the goal of Team EOS to develop and maintain the highest performing and most stable AOSP based rom for an array of platforms. The launching point for this development effort is the Motorola XOOM.

For the latest news on Team EOS Xoom releases make sure you follow @teameos on twitter and on IRC on Freenode in #xoom.

EOS Xoom is an AOSP based rom. It is developed and maintained by Team EOS and is the culmination of our own in house development efforts.

    Installation notes
    1. Download the correct rom for your device.
    2. Download the google applications package

    5. Install the rom by selecting the zip file through the menus.
    6. Install the google applications package IMMEDIATELY after.
    7. Reboot your device and have fun with ICS

    Hi All,

I have got a bricked xoom and I was following the instructions on how to unbrick it. So far i have managed to get into recovery mode and sort the bootloader out.

The problem that I have now is that I am trying to download the above shown rom for my UK spec wifi only Xoom. when I click on the rom that I want it takes me to a site called goo.im and then trys to download the rom. each time I try this the internet explorer keeps stating opp's cant connect. what am I doing wrong.

    Cheers,

    Fred
