    Any ideas ?
I'm not the one to answer that question. Hopefully Steady or TDR will see this and try to explain the issue with it.

If you wipe with the Rogue Recovery, the data on your internal SDcard (and of course external sdcard as well) will be safe (pics, movies, music, etc)... Downloaded apps however will require one app : Titanium Backup : an app essential for every rooted user. Backup your apps before a wipe, then restore them in the new Rom (getting the Pro key will restore them in one step, otherwise you will have to confirm each install individually).

Only problem I have is in the settings menu. The "area" to eliminate the search bar or whatever( the xoom is not near me so I don't know the specific name) it crashes the home screen and I'm forced to remove the options otherwise the homescreen continues to crash .

It's an issue with CM's Trebuchet launcher. Don't tick the option to disable the Search Bar. (Not knowing the background or the code part of it: ) I think it also kills your ability to go in to the app drawer, since the search bar is in the same area as the app button. Everything else within the Trebuchet options should work tho.

Yep that's the place. It's not really an issue for me but I figured I would point out anything that I see that seems to give me an issue this way its notified and someone May or May not want to fix it in the future.
