    random reboot on rooted xoom

Over the last few days, my Xoom has started to reboot randomly. It is rooted with tiamat and 3.2 I can't figure out what could be causing the reboot. I am not getting any error messages and I haven't installed any new software. I have, however, updated Reader HD and the Kindle app. Any troubleshooting suggestions?

    Thanks.

Are you over clocked? If so, how high?

Funny you mention overclocking .... 2.1 I was at 1700 no problem.
then Tiamat 2.2 1700Mhz was out of the question had to bump in down to 1500Mhz had one reset at 1500Mhz..... I really do want to go to 1400Mhz.
I upgraded to 2.2.1 so far it is ok at 1500Mhz Interactive.

I know some people swear killing tasks is a good thing and I did not believe them but I had I do not know how many apps open when I was running Tiamat 2.2 at 1500Mhz...... the reset happened when I opened just one more app. Can running out of what "memory??" by having too much open cause a reset?

From what I understand, all Xooms are not created equal. Mine runs all the time on 1.7 with no reboots at all, while some have problems with 1.5 or higher.

I am overclocked to 1.2. Also, my wifi will seems to switch off randomly even though I have set it to never disconnect. Then, when I try to "restart" the WiFi, I find that it is stuck on "Turning off ..." unless I reboot the Xoom.

    Very annoying.

That shouldn't cause reboots. You might uninstall any new apps you've downloaded right before this started to see if you can eliminate a bad app.
