About LinkBacksHere I am with a new issue.
In fact this issue is not that new... When I received my Xoom I have never been able to set any mail account on Xoom's E-mail application.
When I installed Tiamat, I thought problem will be resolved. Wishful thinking!
I tried to set in "imap", it didn't work, in "pop", I didn't neither.
I tried automatic and manual setting. Nothing worked
On my PC, Yahoo mail and Zimbra are working like a charm.
Does anybody know what is the solution?

Never tried Yahoo or Zimbra on the Xoom buy AOL works fine. Just let the email app know your address and password and that's all there is. When I get back from the gym this morning I'll get a Yahoo email and try and access it from my Xoom.

After hours searching on forums, I know that some people did it very easily. All what they needed was to put address mail and password. Xoom succeeded to connect and retrieve mails.

Glad you got it working because I really didn't need a yahoo email.

Sorry ggrant,
I think you got me wrong. It didn't work for me.
I just said that I read in forums that some people could do it very easily only by typing their address mail and their password.
I still couldn't receive my Yahoo and Zimbra mails on my Xoom.

Goy a yahoo email account, set it up in the email no problems. What you might try is to go to menu>settings>applications>manage applications>all>email>clear the data and cache>reboot and try it again.

I tried that too...
Nothing worked...
Maybe I have an old Yahoo account...
It works on my phone and on my pc. Not on Xoom...
