it is rooted, I did a factory reset, it only clean up the system but didn't restore system files/apps

I am Rooted with working adhoc... feels good now I can use my Nokia N8 to get on the internet

When are you getting the error message? What are you trying to update?

when ever I try to install any apps and or download and install from market
I had someone root my xoom a few months ago

If you have Documents to Go, unintsall it and see if it helps. Documents to Go is a known issue with the market.

don't have DTG
I can install *.apk files, but first I have to download them then install them
from the market it is not seeing my xoom
does anyone has the original xoom market file (an APK file)
will like to install it and see if that helps
I am thinking the system file got damage
there was a market app that I had install, I didn't like it and un-installed it, the problem started after that

Go to menu>settings>applications>manage application>All>market> see if is says to uninstall update. If it does uninstall update, reboot and see if that helped.n Look at post 8 in this thread, Ray posted a market apk.

Market 1.0.28 is there but with no uninstall option

Server Error solution 1: You may try this
1) Have a gmail account
2) Sign up for a youtube account and link it to your gmail
3) Log into youtube app on your tablet
4) Try your Market

1) Create "NEW" gmail account
2) Sign up for a youtube account and link it to your gmail
3) Log into youtube app on tablet
4) Try your Market

Are you running Moray 2.2.2? If so, just do a wipe and reflash it. If you are rooted stock not sure besides a factory data reset. You could go back to the stock images and reroot too.
