    Nexus leak ICS 4.04 AOKP Rom

    Do I need to do a full wipe to install in Wi-Fi Zoom? I wiped battery, Dalvic, and partition but get stuck at the "splash" screen. I rebooted to recovery and wiped again and still the same thing. Maybe I missed something but I couldn't find any special instructions on XDA.

    If you're coming from s stock rom or another rom a wipe data/factory reset is usually needed.

    SGS-IV-Stock_Rooted

    I got it. I did have to do a full wipe. Restoring apps from Titanium now. Can't wait to check it out!

    Thanks for the help. I'm just curious but if they r both 4.0, why is a wipe needed? And can I restore the app data with Titanium or is the data going to cause problems?

    You can restore app data but I wouldn't restore system data. You need to wipe because all roms, even if they're both 4.0.4, have subtle differences.
