Messed up rooting

This is a discussion on Messed up rooting within the Xoom Rescue Squad Help forums, part of the Motorola Xoom Support Forum category; yeah well i'm on 3.2.6 so i'm updated, but the baseband is not right it still says CDMA not LTE like it should...

    yeah well i'm on 3.2.6 so i'm updated, but the baseband is not right it still says CDMA not LTE like it should

    Yes the one meant for mz602 or w.e. the model number is for the LTE verison, if I flashed the sbf file does that include the new baseband update also?

    I would try to root it and cwm recovery. Do Nandroid for this OS.

    Then flash Team EO 4G stingray and test the 4G.

    If both fail, I would return to stock and go to service center.

    yeah i'm going to try that, but I got my xoom on launch day so i'm out of warranty so yeah that won't help much haha

    well I had to flash the xoom 4g baseband update and that fixed it, I now have 3g and I hope 4g service ( no LTE in my area yet haha) but i now have ICS and data again!
