Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us. I'd try a factory data reset first and if that doesn't help I'd contact Motorola about a repair.
    Menu>settings>back up & restore>factory data reset.

It's not stuck pixels. And a factory reset wont help. My gf believes its more than likely the video card or the display is failing.

is it in just the nook app, or are you experiencing it with everything?

when you rotate the screen, does it rotate along with it, or does it stay in one place?

Well, it was just in certain places. Now, its the entire screen - the screen flashes on and off now. It HAS to be the display I think. Either way it is being sent in for repair. I hope to get the box Monday, if not, then Tuesday.

Apparently, my Xoom is from Malaysia and the system is unable to create a service request for it. So, I have to wait until tomorrow for the RESD dept to call me and we can discuss what to do. I am really pissed off.

I did more research on my own. I don't believe it is the display. When I did the factor reset, the display was just fine. However, when I go into ICS, that's when the video goes bonkers and turns on and off. I believe it's either the cable or the video card.

    Any thoughts?

Can this possibly be fixed by me or my gf?

Yes Motorola will still probably honor the warranty. They'll more than likely replace the touch screen. They were quite helpful during the 4G upgrade and repaired mine when it was damaged.

I just got off the phone with Motorola. I was directed to the correct dept. She cancelled the original RMA, and she created a new one with NO problems.

I will receive the return box most likely tomorrow.

The original RMA was created on March 31. I bought the tablet on May 3rd. So, yes, the seller HAD to know of the EXISTING problem.
