Welcome to the forum.Glad you decided to join us. Download and install USBdeview to your PC, click on the .exe and delete all the Xoom drivers from your PC. Download and install the Motorola USB drivers to your PC. Unplug your Xoom and restart your PC and the Xoom with a soft reboot, plug the Xoom back in to see if it's now recognized. Make sure your using the usb cable that came with the Xoom and try a usb port on the back of the PC.

how did LAIOT tools work, I could get it to find my XOOM
