    Rooted Xoom Bootloop

Hi - looking for some help - I have a rooted 4G Xoom (aokp stingray build 38 / tiamat 3.0.5 kernel). When I try to flash aokp 39 after a full wipe, it will go through the activation, then bootloop on the boot animaiton. I can go back to my backup and it runs just fine, but every time I try to flash a new rom, it bootloops. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us. Before flashing the new nightly and while in recovery wipe your cache partition and dalvik cache. Give that a shot and let us know.

Thanks! I have done the following with the same results - dirty flash, wipe cache / dalvik, wipe data and system format. I have also downloaded aokp 39 different times to make sure the file was correct. No issues when flashing (and when going through activation after data reset), but always goes to boot loop.

i just read there might be an issue with B39 over at Rootzwiki - might wait and see how that plays out to see if there is a build issue

This is probably a silly question, but I assume you've been flashing a compatible gapps file with it?

Yes, I think it was the 4/29 GAPPS signed file

I'd just wait for a newer nightly if you've even tried a wipe data/factory reset.
