UK Wifi Xoom - Stuck on Dual Core Technology

I've been running on a flashed US rom for about a week now: [How To] UK Wifi To US GED
I hadn't reached any issues with it, but since then, I've attempted to root my Xoom with: Xoom WiFi (MZ604) Root!! - xda-developers
I reached the first step and flashed the custom boot.img. As soon as I typed "fastboot reboot", I have found myself unable to progress beyond the Dual Core Technology screen. I am still able to access CWM Recovery and Fastboot, and I await ANY advice on how to either return to stock (with a WORKING Xoom) or to proceed with this rooting method, and progress beyond this.

EDIT: Before trying the Root link I showed, I also attempted Universal Xoom Root, which had no visible effect (apps still claimed to not have root access).

Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us. Try a soft reboot to see if it will boot normally, press and hold the power button and the volume up button together until the Xoom starts to reboot, then release them both. If it boots normally follow this guide.

I've already tried that a few times. (EDIT: Soft Reboot - not the root guide)

It still hangs on the Motorola - Dual Core Technology screen however.

It's not going to hurt, I'd start from scratch. If you redo the unlock command it will wipe your Xoom for a fresh start.
