One click root with no root???

Ok, so yeah...I took the easy route and used the "one click root method" for my WIFI Xoom. Everything seemingly went fine...no issues and rebooted as expected. It shows Superuser in the app drawer but when I open up any apps that require root it tells me I'm not rooted?!?

My Kernal shows Tiamat_Xoom-v1.3.0, any ideas would be much appreciated.

What happens when you type su in adb? Do you have busybox installed? If not, you can try busybox installer from the market.

When I type SU in the emulator it shows "permission denied"

Go to su icon and forget all the apps in there, if there are any. Reboot and try again. In all honesty its best to do the manual root method because the one click causes issues for some users.

There are no apps in the list. When you say "try again" do you mean run the whole rooting process over again?

Ya try the one click again and if it doesn't work I recommend the manual root
