    ADB doesnt recognize Xoom

I manually rooted the XOOM when I first got it in Febuary. I havnt connected it to the PC since. Now when I connect it and run ADB devices it doesnt show. I am running in the platform tools folder. I have the path set correctly as mentioned in previous posts. I tried to reinstall the drivers with the Motorola driver tool. I also updated ADB. And tried 2 different cables. Every time I enter adb devices it doesnt list anything. I was hoping to install Tiamat, but it will have to wait. I am running Windows 7 pro 64bit. And just as a test I hooked up my Tbolt and run adb devices and there it is. Any ideas?

Its either a driver issue or try another USB port. Uninstall and reinstall drivers or let the xoom do it by connecting via USB and then reboot the xoom.

The driver is definitely the issue. I dont know what happened from Feb to now to corrupt the driver. I run Motorola Driver Installer.exe and it still wont see it. Device manager sees it under other device as a unknown device, and also sees it under portable devices. When I search for updates under portable devices it says it is a MTP USB Device and says it is up to date. I am assuming the unknown device is what is causing the issue. How do you completely uninstall the drivers and start from scratch? I right click on the portable device and uninstall, disconnect and reconnect and it installs fine. But still shows under other device as unknown. And is there a driver that doesnt come in the Motorola Driver Installer.exe I can download? Any Ideas?

You can uninstall drivers by going to control panel on pc and uninstall software. If I get a bad connection, I just reboot the xoom while its connected and it should search for drivers on its own.

You have problem like me, so it's easy to fix
Now u should uninstall your driver, and setup new drive, setup window media player 11 ( because wmp11 support newest mtp device)
After all, you should remember a ADB command can run better in folder ''platform tool''

I have this same issue and I have tried everything, including uninstalling and reinstalling drivers. It seems I can't even get access with a terminal application on the Xoom. I know I am unlocked and rooted, so that is not the issue. I also have busybox and am running the cyber p8 kernel. So I know for sure I am rooted and unlocked. Lol.
