bricked my xoom wifi, im an idiot, please help (stuck at M)

so being the dumbass that i am, i decided to flash the newest version of the tiamat kernel to my xoom, however i had not updated to 3.1 before doing so, and now im stuck at the M screen. i was rooted, running an earlier version of the kernel, and never got around to updating to 3.1 and im pretty sure that is what lead to me problem. my computer does not recognize the xoom at all, and i have searched all over trying to find help for the past week without making a thread, but i think i hit the end of the line and i am in dire need of help.

Can you reboot into recovery?

I have had problems with my PC Win 7 recognising my xoom over the weekend, stuck at the M. I reinstalled the moto driver app and did a clean and refresh driver install then opened the android sdk app with an open ADB window and the xoom attached and bam the drivers started to reinstall. Ran adb reload followed by adb devices just to be sure and that combo seeemed to work for me

Have you tried using both recovery and fastboot to see if your computer sees the Xoom? More and more people who have problems seeing the Xoom have luck when booting into fastboot (power on, press volume down 3 times). Try that with ADB and see what happens.

Also, do you have a recovery you can go back to? If so, boot into recovery and restore to that date.

well i cannot get the device to be recognized in adb, and when trying to use fastboot, on the xoom it hangs on starting fastboot protocol support. How are things looking for me?

What are you doing when you try and use fastboot?

What command are you using? What error on computer? What is state of Xoom when plugged in?

currently the xoom is stuck at "starting fastboot protocol support" on the M dual core screen. When i try to issue any adb commands, i get an error that says "error: device not found"

What happens when you execute the following command:
fastboot devices

nothing happens, it just skips down to the next line

and if it helps at all, when i try to start RSD the xoom hangs on "Starting RSD protocol support 3"

Can you validate that you issued this command when your Xoom was on the "Starting fastboot protocol support" screen?
