    Unhappy My new xoom wont turn on.pls help!

    hi every one,

    i bought a new xoom few days ago,
    the first thing i got home is updating it to 3.1 then 3.2.

    updating to 3.1 is fast and nothing is wrong.

    so i went out and just left my new toy there for 3.2 updating.
    but when i came back, it cant turn on any more!

    i just installed some apps and done nothing to it.
    pressing vol up + pow is not working, 30sec pressing pow is not working.
    vol up + down +pow still not working.

    pls help and tell me y this happened.

    Have you tried plugging it into the wall charger when you try any of that? If you left it sit and it had problems updating, it may have sucked the juice out of the battery.
    Try that first and see if it starts up.

    yes, i was charging and just let it update.
    but it still cannot turn on after fully charge

    Wait. I just noticed you are in China. The 3.2 is only for US versions, unless you rooted and flashed it to a US version file.

    Yes where did you buy your xoom from? 3.2 is only for US wifi only xooms.

    i did the same too. i updated my xoom to 3.2 but I'm in the philippines. the same thing happened to me. I left it for a while but when I went back. I cant turn on my tablet. i did everything but still the same wont boot up. the battery starts to dry out even thought I'm not using it because it wont boot.

    us mz 601 version， nothing wrong when it updated to 3.1. what causes these problems is what i am concerned about. did u guys have same issues?

    yes . through ota my xoom download this update automatically. then i just left it there.

    Plain and simple, if you guys flashed 3.2, you WILL have problems unless you flash the 3.1 US image files. If you followed some guide to flash it, they were wrong for telling you it would work on non-US files.

    What link did you follow to get the update?

    All I wanna to is Xooma-Xoom-Xoom-Xoom > > > from my Xoom Xoom.
