    Explorer(s) won't open picture files

    all of a sudden any file explorer I have on the XOOM (WiFi, US version, 3.2) will not open any picture (.jpg) file. When I tap a file to open it, the screen will simply dim a bit without opening anythig . Tapping the screen again will go back to full brightness, but nothing else. This is happening equally with ES File explorer, File Manager HD and Astro File Manager.
    On the other hand, Gallery opens all pictures with no problem.

    any idea?

    how long since last time you rebooted? have you tried that? sometimes weird things like that happen to me and a quick reboot fixes it.

    Try the trick of rotating the Xoom to portrait, then back. A bug that came in with 3.2 reported by many, and resolved in that way, though not sure why you would only just have found it.

    I also am experiencing the same problem. I have tried to reboot and rotate the unit with no luck. I had to reset it to Factory defaults two times now to get it fixed. Of course I then lost all my data. Very frustrating. If anyone has a fix that will work, please let us know.
